The position

Job description

As a member of the leadership team, you take in charge the Product teams under the supervision of the CEO and participate into BuyCo’s mission is a very direct impact on our product strategy: “Increase efficiency in container transportation management with the power of innovative technology”.

Your job is articulated around 3 main axis:

Strategy

  • Define, implement and lead the overall Product Strategy across BuyCo’s top initiatives
  • Find the balance between strategic bets and shorter-term goals. Compromise on the best interests of our teams, our customers, and our growth strategy
  • Make objective, data-driven decisions to understand how the application can be enhanced and to measure the adoption of new features

Leadership

  • Embody Product Vision & turn it into a measurable and actionable product roadmap
  • Drive the communication and alignment of the Product Vision and Roadmaps with all internal stakeholders (Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Tech)

Team Management and Culture

  • Create a best in class Product Organization: Find the right balance between discovery & delivery in each team, lead the Product Talent Acquisition strategy
  • Manages a team of Product Owners/Managers, Designers, and Analysts
  • Defines Career Ladder and supports Product Coaching
  • Responsible for the Product Culture across the organization. Has experience in managing and mobilizing cross-functional teams.

Preferred experience

This job is made for you if…

  • you have 7y+ experience in Product Management for SaaS/PaaS Products
  • you’ve held a similar position (Head of/VP/CPO) in a rapid growth environment (ex: Scale-up etc.)
  • you have some management experience with Product teams
  • you’ve demonstrated ability to implement Product Processes and Culture across the organization
  • you have experience working with Technical Products (API Integrations, Data-oriented products, etc.)
  • you’re perfectly Fluent English with exposure to the international context
  • obviously, experience in maritime transportation is a plus
