The position

Job description

1. Creative Strategy & Production

  • Lead the creation and testing of ad creatives with a TikTok-first approach, focusing on trend-based, native storytelling formats tailored for Gen Z.

  • Extend winning concepts and creative learnings across other social platforms (Meta, Snapchat) and DSPs, ensuring consistency and performance scalability.

  • Develop a creative testing framework focused on hooks, messaging, and storytelling.

  • Brief, manage, and challenge external partners, UGC creators, agencies, and freelancers.

  • Produce high-quality assets yourself when needed.

  • Analyze creative performance and identify winning patterns to iterate faster.

2. Trend & Market Expertise

  • Be Hush’s eyes and ears on US cultural and TikTok trends.

  • Scout new formats, creators, and storytelling techniques.

  • Stay close to Gen Z content ecosystems, what’s authentic, what’s trending, and what converts.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work hand-in-hand with Growth (media buyers, performance analysts) to optimize performance.

  • Collaborate with Design for brand alignment.

  • Partner with Product Marketing to ensure storytelling consistency with Hush’s values.

📊 Creative Goals

  • Deliver multiple creative concepts per month, with at least 20% identified as top performers.

  • Maintain a fast testing and iteration loop, ideate, test, learn, and scale weekly.

  • Contribute directly to key performance metrics: CTR, CPA, CVR, Hook Rate, Hold Rate.


Preferred experience

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in creative strategy or content production for mobile consumer apps.

  • Proven experience creating and optimizing TikTok ads (UGC, trend-based, storytelling formats).

  • Hands-on with creative tools:

    • Video editing: CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, After Effect

    • Design: Figma, Canva, Photoshop

    • AI/creative tools: Midjourney, Runway, ChatGPT, Arcads

  • Strong understanding of performance metrics (CTR, CPM, CPA, retention).

  • Fluent in English, with a deep knowledge of US digital culture and trends.
