It all started with an idea in 2021. Initially built to democratize Bitcoin in France, Bitstack has gone from a simple product that invests spare change in bitcoin, to a crypto-native bank bringing a better way to save, spend, and grow money to our 300K+ users. The Role

At Bitstack, we’re building the simplest way to save in Bitcoin fast, seamless, and accessible.

As we grow, maintaining a strong legal and compliance framework is key to everything we do.

We’re looking for a Compliance & Internal Control to help us structure, secure, and scale our operations in an evolving regulatory environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Internal Control

• You will contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our internal control framework.

• You will identify, assess, and monitor operational, financial, and compliance risks across the organization.

• You will support the ongoing optimization of internal processes to ensure scalability and efficiency.

• You will track and analyze key compliance and control indicators to ensure the effectiveness of our systems.

Legal & Compliance

• You will handle a wide range of legal topics, like improving our terms of service and legal documentation.

• You will support the management of regulatory obligations and ensure Bitstack remains fully aligned with applicable frameworks.

• You will stay on top of regulatory developments in fintech and crypto (AMF, ACPR, etc.) and help anticipate their impact on our business.

• You will contribute to and drive high-impact compliance projects, including KYC, AML, and GDPR initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

We care more about impact than titles. The ideal candidate:

• You have a background in law or business, and a strong interest in fintech, crypto, and regulatory environments.

• You combine strong analytical thinking with a high level of rigor and attention to detail.

• You are comfortable handling complex topics and turning them into clear, actionable insights.

• You have excellent writing skills and can produce structured, high-quality documentation.

• You are proactive, hands-on, and eager to take ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.

• You are fluent in English.

  A discussion with our Head of Risk & Compliance to dive deeper into your experience, expectations, and how you approach your role and impact.

• Team & Culture Fit Interview
  A conversation with the team focused on collaboration, ways of working, and overall team fit.

• Founder Interview
  A final discussion with our CEO to align on vision and expectations.
