ENTER THE GAME
The Trader (Overnight) will be managing the Sportsbook offer (pre-event and In-play) for which they will be assigned, across all Betclic brands, and regulated markets - to ensure maximum profitability for the business, and excellent customer experience.
The job holder must provide 1st line of Sport Quality control to ensure the betting offer (provider driven and manual) remains at the required standard. Within this duty there is an expectation to lead communication with external providers and/or (any) other third-party that requires reporting and feedback concerning the sportsbook offer.
YOUR ROLE AT BETCLIC
In this context, your duties are:
Ensure you follow short- and long-term strategy directives and provide feedback relevant to your sports.Ensure customers receive excellent quality of service by providing competitive coverage and pricing across the sports offer.Ensuring all content, features, and promotions are correctly displayed on the website and the brand(s) complies with the legal, regulatory and revenue requirements as determined by the various authorities.Regular communication with Head of Sport(s), Head of Trading, and all other SPO vertical Heads (Local / Product / Risk) to adopt department strategy and drive progression.Maintain dialogue with non-trading departments (marketing, compliance, CS, UX, Dev, etc..) to align projects, developments, strategy and procedures.Carry out appropriate (requested and pro-active) research and analysis across you sport(s) with timely commentary and reporting on trends, changes, statistical analysis of sports/events/markets to identify deficiencies/failings in our offer.Active comment on trading tools and processes, product testing on stage & production environments, raising BO and FO issues, and making suggestion for improvements.Analysis of customer activity with a view to protecting sustainable profit margin(s) across trading activity – you are expected to maintain regular and accurate communication with the Profiling Team and follow department policy with regards to communicating risk.Integration and management of 3rd party providers in-line with business needs and department strategy. Continuous review of current configurations & risk management settings and providing suggestions to Head of Sport(s).Enhance an automated offer with manual and non-provider driven offer, both pre-event and IP.Ensure resulting duties are covered in a timely manner and response to Customer Service / VIP teams remains at high level.Follow all department and company procedures & guidelines in regard to trading procedures, risk management, rota compilations, holidays booking, sickness, absence. If there is a lack of appropriate or relevant procedures/guidelines you must raise this with you line manager.Ensure all T&C's relevant to your sport(s) are up to date and accurate.WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

At least 3 years of Trading experience (essential).Good knowledge and a genuine strong interest in US Sports (NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB) is essential + other sports beneficial.Knowledge of events/teams/players and betting markets.Understanding of fixed odds, betting exchanges and betting principles.Essential to be able to work unsociable shifts (evenings/weekends/holidays) based on the business needs and sporting calendar.Understanding 3rd party sports betting providers (e.g. BetRadar/BetGenius).Strong mathematical skills and good analytical/statistical skills.Organised, and competent at multi-tasking.Good English language skills and excellent communication skills.Able to challenge ideas and approaches, and able to work in a team or act alone when required.Sound knowledge of MS Office programs (particularly Excel).A high attention to detail and the ability to think clearly and logically under pressure.Able to work in a team or act alone when required.An ambitious & versatile character with a strong passion for the sports betting industry.Position to be filled as soon as possible in Philippines (full remote).
