ENTER THE GAME  

Our native mobile applications are deployed across several European countries and meet high standards for performance and security. As a Mobile Architect, you will play a strategic role in defining and evolving our mobile architecture across both Android and iOS platforms. You'll join the Front Platform department as part of the front architecture team, working alongside other architects and a Staff Engineer mobile, collaborating closely with Engineering Managers and Product Owners.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC  

In this role, your main missions will be:

  • Define and scale the architecture of our Android and iOS mobile applications.
  • Ensure technical consistency and alignment across platforms.
  • Guide development teams on best practices in native mobile development.
  • Participate in technical design, technical experiments and strategic decision-making.
  • Mentor developers and support their technical growth
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of code quality and performance.
  • Document architectural decisions and technical evolutions.
  • TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT

  • Languages: Kotlin (Android), Swift (iOS)
  • Architecture: Clean Architecture, MVVM
  • Libraries & Tools: AndroidX, RxJava, Retrofit, Dagger, Git & Gitflow, Github Actions
  • Testing: Junit, Mockito, Kluent, Espresso, Barista, Gherkin
  • WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?  

    We are looking for a staff-level profile with strong experience and leadership in mobile architecture.

    This job is for you if:

  • You have 8+ years of experience in native mobile development on your primary stack (Android or iOS).
  • You have at least 2–3 years of experience on your secondary stack.
  • You are proficient in Kotlin and Swift, and comfortable with native environments.
  • You have a strong focus on performance, code quality, and user experience.
  • You can clearly communicate technical concepts and support team growth.
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Bonus: Experience with Flutter, Kotlin Multiplatform, or React Native is a plus.

    WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?  

    If your application is shortlisted, Sébastien will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes).

    Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation, and cognitive reasoning).

    About two weeks later, you will take a technical test with one of our Technology experts.

    Next, you will meet your future Engineering Manager, followed by the Head of Engineering.

    Finally, Sébastien will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.

    The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
