ENTER THE GAME   

As a Head of SRE, to lead 15 engineers across two specialized teams and drive operational excellence at scale. This role combines strategic leadership with deep technical expertise to challenge and guide complex infrastructure solutions. 

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC   

In this role, your main missions will be:  

  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop 15 engineers across SRE Core and CRE teams 
  • Technical Strategy: Define roadmap, challenge technical solutions, and ensure architectural excellence 
  • Team Management: Drive career development and elevate team maturity levels 
  • SRE Core Team 

  • Datacenter management and infrastructure operations 
  • Collaborate with CCoE to implement and improve AWS/Azure landing zone solutions 
  • Build and maintain Terraform module libraries based on CCoE recommendations 
  • Implement new cloud infrastructure solutions based on strategic business needs. 
  • CRE Team (Customer Reliability Engineering) 

  • Promote DevOps/SRE culture and practices across engineering teams (Tribes) 
  • Guide teams toward operational excellence and self-service capabilities 
  • Develop reliability engineering standards and best practices 
  • WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?   

    We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm!  

    This job is for you if:  

  • 8+ years in SRE/Infrastructure Engineering with 3+ years managing technical teams (10+ engineers) 
  • Strong software architecture knowledge to evaluate and challenge technical solutions 
  • Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Terraform, and infrastructure automation 
  • Experience with reliability engineering principles (SLOs, monitoring, incident management) 
  • Proven track record scaling teams and driving DevOps transformation 
  • Excellent communication skills to influence across all organizational levels 
  • And finally, you speak English fluently  
  • TECHNICAL PLATFORM 

  • Cloud Strategy: Full cloud migration with datacenter closure planned 
  • Multi-Cloud: Azure and AWS environments 
  • Architecture: Serverless-first approach with full Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy 
  • Observability: Datadog for monitoring and analytics 
  • On-Premises: Cisco ACI, Nutanix, Fortinet, Puppet, Juniper  
  • IMPACT 

    Lead critical infrastructure teams, shape technical architecture decisions, and build world-class operational excellence culture that directly impacts product reliability and developer productivity. 

    WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?   

    If your application is shortlisted, Marine will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).  

    About two weeks later, you will meet Yoann, Platform Engineering Director, your future manager, followed by Head of CCOE and Lead Architect. Then you will meet the CTO, Benoit. 

    Finally, Marine will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.  

    The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
