The position

Job description

The SE team is growing and looking for a future Junior Solutions Engineer for the German market! 👋

You will report directly to our Head of SE (Solutions Engineers).

You will be the operational contact during the customer’s integration and installation of the Batch solution. Your role includes ensuring smooth integration and compliance with project deadlines. Once the integration is complete, Batch’s Customer Success Managers will take over. You will ensure a smooth transition for the customer.

Your role includes :

  • Defining the implementation phases of Batch’s different solutions (iOS/Android/Web SDKs, APIs, dashboards) for new customers in line with their specific requirements and technical set-up;
  • Planning all the phases of integration in line with customer deadlines;
  • Identifying and communicating with the different internal and external project stakeholders;
  • Setting up the necessary technical connections;
  • Sequencing, defining and executing integration tests at different stages of the project;
  • Designing and integrating tagging plans according to the business needs expressed by the customer;
  • Documenting specific cases encountered if necessary;
  • Providing additional technical documentation and information for the Help Centre and the internal knowledge database;
  • Continuously seeking to improve the onboarding process.

Preferred experience

  • Successful project management experience and coding experience is required;
  • Technical Project Management skills are required (ability to understand and explain Batch’s technical documentation);
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and empathy skills;
  • A facilitator and organiser;
  • Results-focused, a willingness to see projects through to completion;
  • Fluent German are required.

Recruitment process

Batch follows the same procedure for all its interviews with 4 simple and clear steps for each candidate:

1 - Initial call and introduction (15 to 30 minutes).
2 - Face-to-face interview with HR and the relevant Team Leader (45 minutes).
3 - Conduct and complete a case study, in person or remotely, presenting to 4 or 5 Batch employees.
4 - Meeting with one of the Batch founders (30 to 45 minutes).

At the end of this 4-step process, Batch will make a job offer to the successful candidate.
