Job description

The VP of Sales for EMEA drives Batch’s Sales team forward, fulfilling our ambition to become the leading customer engagement platform.

You will reinforce and embody our strong sales culture and strive to pioneer sales methods, framework and organisation to maximise growth.

Role 🚀

Execution plan

  • Based on the company’s vision and business plan, draw up our sales execution plan taking into account direct sales as well as other growth levers such as partnerships, in all markets. Define the associated recruitment plan.
  • Set and own targets: short-, medium- and long-term, collective and individual.
  • Own, coordinate and improve our ABM strategy with the Marketing and Ops teams.
  • Manage and organise the team to maximise efficiency, happiness and performance: roles, territory management, compensation plans, sales processes and framework (MEDDPICC), enablement, cross-team alignment.
  • Working with the Business Operations teams, constantly challenge existing processes and methods and closely track performance to identify hurdles.
  • Work horizontally with the CMO, Head of Customer Success and Head of Solutions Engineering to align all client-facing teams.

International Development

  • Define target markets with the c-level group — based on market analysis, business potential, existing footprint, etc.
  • Work horizontally with Marketing and Business Ops to map local partners, competitors and targets to define, refine and localise our approach
  • Hire, train, manage and evaluate local teams.
  • Ensure smooth communication, knowledge sharing and method alignment between teams and offices
  • Be personally involved with key clients and opportunities.

Preferred experience

  • 7+ years of experience in Sales, ideally in an Enterprise B2B SaaS company
  • Excellent spoken and written English and French
  • Previous experience in management
  • Culture of delivering and exceeding objectives
  • Strong relationship building skills, excellent communication
  • Dynamic and full of energy

Recruitment process

Batch follows the same procedure for all its interviews with 4 simple and clear steps for each candidate:

1 - Initial call and introduction (15 to 30 minutes).
2 - Face-to-face interview with HR and the relevant Team Leader (45 minutes).
3 - Conduct and complete a case study, in person or remotely, presenting to 4 or 5 Batch employees.
4 - Meeting with one of the Batch founders (30 to 45 minutes).

At the end of this 4-step process, Batch will make a job offer to the successful candidate.
