Help us scale Basikon across Africa & the Middle East

We’re now hiring a senior direct sales hunter based in Casablanca, Abidjan, or any other major economic hub, with a well-established network among decision‑makers in banking, leasing/asset finance, consumer credit/BNPL, factoring and microfinance. Someone who can open doors, shape opportunities, and close complex enterprise deals across North & West Africa and the Middle East. What you’ll do

  • Own net‑new logo acquisition across North & West Africa and the Middle East: territory planning, account mapping, multi‑threaded outreach, and full‑cycle enterprise selling.

  • Create and convert demand: orchestrate outbound, leverage your network, ride the event calendar with Marketing/Partners, and turn conversations into qualified pipeline and closed revenue (from first meeting to signature).

  • Navigate complex stakeholders: C‑level, COO/CIO, Heads of Credit/Leasing/Risk/Operations, Procurement, and IT Architecture.

  • Shape winning proposals: qualify, scope, and craft value‑led propositions (demos, business cases, RFPs/RFIs) with Presales and Product.

  • Forecast with precision: maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene and deliver reliable weekly and quarterly forecasts.

  • Be our voice on the ground: share market intel (competitors, pricing dynamics, regulatory trends) to guide GTM and product roadmaps.

What success looks like (first 6 months)

  • Territory playbook delivered: segmented ICPs, named‑account plans, priority prospect map, and activity model signed off with the CRO.

  • Pipeline you can stand behind: consistent creation against quarterly targets, with stage discipline and accuracy.

  • New logos won: referenceable customers in priority sub‑regions and verticals; clean hand‑offs to Delivery/CS.

Preferred experience

What you bring

  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales (fintech/financial‑services software strongly preferred) with a new‑business (hunter) DNA and consistent over‑achievement.

  • Fluency in French, English, and Arabic; additional local languages are a plus.

  • A live network of senior decision‑makers among our target customer types (banks/lenders, lessors, brokers, merchants) in North & West Africa and/or the Middle East.

  • Credibility at C‑level and the ability to articulate business value across use cases such as asset finance/leasing, consumer credit & BNPL, factoring, and microfinance.

  • Methodical enterprise selling: MEDDICC (or equivalent), multi‑threading, value hypotheses, mutual close plans.

  • Field agility in a remote‑first, outcomes‑driven culture; willingness to travel across the region as needed.
