Bagatelle is currently recruiting its future F&B Financial Controller to monitor and improve the group’s performance in relation to Finance and International Accounting.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop organization, procedures and tools to monitor and improve the margins of the group’s restaurants in coordination with the chefs, the restaurant managers and purchasing.
Define the main guidelines for controls and indicators to be implemented. and monitor key indicators.
Identify risks related to cost control, to income audit, and implement corrective measures.
Assist administrative and operational teams in processing purchases, inventories & consumption.
Identify risks related to cash receipts control and implement corrective measures.
Responsible for internal control.
Actively participate in the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Perform reconciliations between accounting statements and results from reporting/dashboards.
Monitor discrepancies between forecast VS actual objectives and propose a corrective course of action if necessary.
Work closely with other accounting department personnel.
Identify areas of optimization and help operational managers achieve savings
Participate in all specific projects requested by the CFO or General Management.
Inform superiors of any “abnormal” situations.
About you
Higher education in accounting or F&B industry.
Minimum 2 years’ experience on similar positions in International Hospitality or F&B environments.
Capacity to pilot data structure evolution (convergence of local IT systems to generate “group” reports).
Ability to analyze, control and summarize while working in a complex organization.
Fluency in English and French.
Mastery of Excel, and Microsoft office applications.
Knowledge of Easy Planet tools and POS.
