YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES:

Within the Group, you will join the AXA SA Finance department.

Within this Department, you will be part of the Management Information & Solvency 2 team. The team manages and coordinates all cross-functional projects within the AXA SA Finance Department (such as Group Capital Management treaties). In this role, ensures the compliance with the calendar and instructions issued by the Group in close collaboration with Group department heads. On one hand, the Management Information team is responsible for the production of AXA SA's technical (reinsurance activity), service (brokerage activity) and Expenses results for any closing and forecasts phases. In this role, it prepares the financial statements for the Pool Property and Group Reinsurance Retentions. On the other hand, the S2 team prepares all pillars Solvency’s Quarterly and Annual reports (Solo and Conso) and facilitates the coordination with Reserving, Risk Management and others Finance/Group departments.

 

 

Your job and daily missions:

 

As a Solvency II Controller, you will:

 

  • Prepare Quarterly and Annual QRTs (Quantitative Report Templates) according to the current EIOPA taxonomy and regulatory calendar,
  • Collect and check accounting and financial data (all gaaps),
  • Check the consistency between the various reports and implementation of verification rules,
  • Input data into the consolidation tool (SAP-Magnitude) in compliance with the Group's rules, schedules, and instructions,
  • Load and check report feeds from Magnitude or other dedicated Group tools,
  • Participate in the preparation of Solvency 2 reports (SFCR or RSR),
  • Prepare of Solo and Group sign-off documents,
  • Prepare documents for IFC control,
  • Manage the relationships with key internal and external contacts,
  • Participate in tools development for any reinsurance projects (Life&Health Group Capital Management).

 

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Strong technical and accounting skills with business acumen, and ability to work in a collaborative/project mode to deliver a concrete business output,
  • Ability to effectively convey complex issues into clear and easy-to-understand oral or written presentations in English,
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a diverse range of stakeholders,
  • Reactiveness, smooth and strong exchanges with AXA operational entities,
  • Capacity to deal with a wide diversity of situations, to build meaningful overviews as well as performing deep dives on technical matters,
  • Background: High education, business school or Master degree, ideally in Finance or Insurance, minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role or in P&C / L&H insurance or reinsurance, additional training or knowledge in actuarial science would be appreciated.
  • Languages: fluent in French and in English.
