The International Health and EB business represents 1.6BnEuros (2024) with Health and Protection covers, in reinsurance (2/3) and direct insurance (1/3). It targets different client segments: individuals, small/medium/large corporates, multinationals, ceding companies, IGOs/NGOs and EmbassiesYour role : providing insightful technical IFRS17 financial analysis and reporting across International Health and EB business. Working collaboratively across Finance, reserving and actuarial functions, as well as Sales and Underwriters, to develop and enhance IFRS17 projections, bring challenge, insight and governance. Key accountabilities et responsibilities1. Perform robust IFRS 17 financial projections and Analysis timely- Lead the delivery of IFRS17 for startegic plans, budgets and reforecasts- Develop a risk et opportunity log to support effective performance management- Lead collaboration across finance, reserving and actuarial functions to deliver robust and insightful reporting2. Provide explanation to Group and local stakeholders though reporting schedules- Lead the delivery of accurate monthly business report, and forecasting schedules to timescale and to high degree of accuracy- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the division and Group- Develop insightful analysis and commentary in relation with the business- Manage the annual reporting, budgeting and forecasting cycle, within the timeline3. Build strong and effective relationships- Develop and maintain effective relationships across Group, Finance, reserving, actuarial functions and business functions- Leverage relationships to develop compelling business insight and influence at all levels to drive achievement of financial targets4. Skills- In-depth IFRS17 technical knowledge- Strong relationship management, analytical, negotiating and influencing skills- Comfortable presenting to a senior audience, whether on-line or in person- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and able to work at the senior levels of organisations- Business / commercial acumen- Proactive, energetic and versatile 'can do' approach- Proven ability to deliver under pressure and work to tight deadlinesExperience- Strong technical knowledge in a reserving, reporting or modelling role- Experience of working within insurance industry or financial services
