Job description

Company Description

At AUTO1, we are seeking a professional to join our team and lead global compensation and benefits analysis.

Do you have experience helping companies create a global compensation management strategy for an international company?

This role involves close collaboration with various teams and managing key data to drive strategic decisions.

If you have experience in compensation analysis and a proactive approach to problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

Job Description

Reporting to the HQ Organisation & Development team, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Compensation Analysis: Own end‑to‑end compensation analysis across European markets — building the pay architecture where needed to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness and local compliance; turn insights into scalable grade structures and clear, decision‑ready recommendations for HQ and country HR teams.

  • Benchmarking: Lead local and international benchmarking initiatives, partnering with HQ, Finance and country HRs to source market data, model financial impact, and recommend competitive, costed changes that can be rolled out across markets.

  • Data Management: Own C&B data governance: collect, validate and consolidate compensation data across HRIS/comp tools to create a single source of truth, ensuring accuracy and consistency for Europe‑wide reporting and decision‑making.

  • Insights & Reporting: Produce concise, actionable analytics and dashboards on pay trends, pay equity and market positioning — translating complex analyses into executive‑ready insights and a prioritized roadmap to close gaps across countries.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with People teams, Talent Acquisition, HQ and country HR leaders to co‑design, pilot and scale compensation & benefits programmes; enable local adoption through governance, training and change management.

Preferred experience

  • Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Expertise in analyzing compensation data, conducting benchmarking studies, and interpreting market trends.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data visualization) and experience with HRIS (preferably Workday) or compensation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, the ability to negotiate contracts with vendors and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset and able to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in French and English.

Additional Information

  • Be part of Europe's leading digital automotive platform and contribute to shaping the future of the industry.
  • Opportunities for personal and professional growth, with the chance to bring your ideas to life.
  • International teams and a dynamic, innovative work environment.
