We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a diverse skillset to lead complex, multi-faceted product development projects at the forefront of technological advancement in cell therapy development and manufacturing.
In this position, you will oversee all phases of product development projects - hardware, software and consumables - from conception to market introduction, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, scope, and deliverables. You will identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive risk mitigation and effective change management and provide an unbiased fact base to enable leadership approval on necessary actions.
As part of Astraveus’ involvement in the publicly funded FrenchTech 2030 research program, you will be responsible to monitor and report on project execution versus plan to Astraveus leadership and the supporting institutions on a regular basis.
Technical skills:
Bachelor or Masters degree in engineering sciences, biology, chemistry, life sciences or related field, supplemental business degree desirable; Project Management Professional® (PMP) or comparable certification desired
5+ years track record of successfully driving the simultaneous execution of complex, multi-dimensional and cross-functional product development projects related to bioprocess manufacturing technologies; prior experience in start-up company desirable
Deep understanding of milestone-based product development processes
Familiarity with design control procedures according to ISO 13485
Experience in product development and market introduction of bioprocess manufacturing technologies
Experience in managing combined hardware/consumable- and software- related projects
Proven ability to proactively address project risks and challenges
Proven ability to provide comprehensive audience-oriented project communication with appropriate depth and breadth of information
Deep understanding of both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies (desired, not mandatory)
Advanced proficiency with project management software (Microsoft Project or similar) (desired, not mandatory)
Proficiency in French and English (orally and in writing)
