Our technical design office, represented by the Engineering branch, comprises approximately 100 employees and is involved in the design and supervision of all technical disciplines: structure, façade, HVAC, plumbing, medical fluids, fire safety systems, high voltage, low voltage, smart technologies, and security.
We work on high technical value-added projects such as high-rise buildings, offices, hotels, shopping centers, data centers, etc. We engage in both public and private sector projects, for new constructions or renovations. Our project budgets range from €10 millions to €500 millions, covering project management from the competition phase to project completion.
The Building, Project Management and Engineering Business Unit, based at ARTELIA's headquarters in St. Ouen, near Paris, France, includes a Data Center department with over 25 years of experience in this field.
This rapidly growing business requires a significant increase in strength within the ARTELIA Group to establish itself among the European leaders in the specialized Data Center Engineering market.
To this end, a Director of Strategy & Development - Data Center position has been created within the BMI BU, which oversees this activity, with the aim of further strengthening this department. This position reports to the Branch Director.
As Director of Strategy & Development, you will play a key role in the business development by leveraging the Group's expertise, both in France and internationally, to develop high-value offerings and respond in a coordinated manner to strategic market opportunities.
More specifically, the Strategy & Development Director will be responsible, both internally and externally, for:
• Advancing the Group's vision and values in the Data Center market,
• Embodying ARTELIA's technical expertise,
• Demonstrating credibility thanks to a recognized foundation of expertise in the Data Center field.
This strategic role will provide high visibility within the Group and among key players in the sector.
Your responsibilities:
Business Development in France and Internationally
• Managing the business development of the Data Center business in France and Europe
• Identifying clients and projects to carry out Data Center Project Management (PMO)/Project Management (PM) assignments, from the early stages of the project: feasibility, outline;
• Respond to calls for tenders, alone or as part of a consortium, including as an ad hoc General Contractor
• Develop and maintain a relationship of trust with key market clients (hyperscales, GAFAM, operators, real estate companies, investors)
Operational Strategy and Partnerships
• Co-construct the growth strategy with the Department Director and the Development Manager
• Identify and structure internal (other Group BUs) and external strategic partnerships
• Position ARTELIA on high value-added offerings (resilience, energy performance, digital transition)
Outreach and Influence
• Represent ARTELIA within specialized ecosystems (France Datacenter, Uptime Institute, conferences, etc.)
• Contribute to the production of reference content (white papers, articles, studies)
• Participate in national and European bodies and working groups Required
