HR and Finance Manager – Brussels (80–100%)

The Role
To support our growth, we are looking for an HR and Finance Manager (80–100%) who will play a key role in the day-to-day management and structuring of our Belgian office.
Start date: From January 2026 (no later than March 31, 2026)
Location: Brussels (partial remote work possible)
Your Responsibilities
👥 Human Resources
- Manage employment contracts: drafting, tracking, and archiving (Dimonas, amendments, certificates, etc.)
- Supervise payroll: monthly salary preparation, coordination with the social secretariat, payslip verification, and management of fringe benefits
- Handle administrative follow-up for employees (absences, leave, social and legal compliance)
- Update internal policies and monitor social legislation
🔍 Recruitment
- Actively participate in the recruitment process: drafting job offers, pre-selection, interview coordination, and administrative follow-up
- Collaborate with management and team leads to identify staffing needs
- Understand technical profiles (IT, data, digital) to assess candidates effectively
- Organize onboarding and integration of new employees
💼 Accounting & Finance
- Record invoices, bank statements, and salaries
- Prepare and follow up on client invoicing
- Manage cash flow, monitor payments, and handle reminders
- Work with the external accountant for annual accounts, VAT declarations, and reporting
🏢 Administration & Internal Management
- Manage insurance, contracts, and legal documents
- Organize internal events (meetings, team buildings, etc.)
- Provide operational support to management for reporting and coordination with the Artefact group
Profile
We are looking for someone who is:
- Dynamic, organized, and detail-oriented, able to manage several tasks simultaneously
- Comfortable in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
- Experienced in finance, accounting, HR, or administrative management
- Familiar with (or curious about) IT, data, or digital environments
- Fully bilingual in French and Dutch (spoken and written); English is a plus
- Proactive, autonomous, and an excellent communicator
💡 A medium-term evolution towards an Administrative and Financial Director position is foreseen.
