The Role
We are seeking a Customer Data and AI Strategy Lead to drive the vision, growth, and market positioning of Artefact’s customer data and AI offering. This is a senior leadership role for a highly experienced professional who brings strong strategic thinking, deep customer data expertise, and a proven ability to translate data capabilities into tangible business value.
You will lead the development of our customer data strategy framework, support high-impact client engagements, and play a critical role in business development. Acting as a senior advisor to clients and internal teams, you will shape how organizations leverage customer data, cloud ecosystems, and AI to transform marketing, customer experience, and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and evolve Artefact’s customer data and AI strategy, ensuring a clear and differentiated market positioning.
- Lead the development of methodologies, frameworks, and value propositions across customer data platforms (CDPs), identity resolution, data activation, personalization, and AI-driven customer use cases.
- Translate emerging trends in AI, privacy, and marketing technology into actionable strategic offerings.
Business Development & Client Engagement
- Support and lead business development initiatives for customer data and AI-related opportunities, including opportunity shaping, proposal development, and executive-level conversations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders on customer data transformation and AI adoption.
- Contribute to account growth by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing client portfolios.
Partner & Ecosystem Development
- Build and strengthen go-to-market initiatives with key technology partners such as AWS, Treasure Data, Google, and other cloud and MarTech providers.
- Organize and participate in lead generation events, executive roundtables, and joint marketing initiatives with strategic partners.
- Ensure strong alignment between Artefact’s consulting capabilities and partner technologies.
Thought Leadership & Market Visibility
- Publish high-impact thought leadership (articles, white papers, case studies, conference presentations) to position Artefact as a leading authority in customer data and AI.
- Represent Artefact at industry events and executive forums.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and capability building across global teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10–15 years of professional experience, with a strong focus on customer data, CRM, CDPs, marketing data, digital analytics, or AI-driven customer transformation.
- Proven leadership experience in consulting, advisory, or strategic roles within data, technology, or management consulting environments.
- Deep understanding of customer data ecosystems, cloud data platforms, and AI applications across marketing, personalization, and customer experience.
- Demonstrated success supporting or leading complex sales cycles and executive-level engagements.
- Experience collaborating with major technology partners such as AWS, Google, and leading CDP or MarTech vendors.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to connect data strategy to measurable business outcomes.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex data and AI concepts for senior stakeholders.
