Job Title: Braze Marketing Expert (Freelance / Contract)
Location: Remote / UK-based
Contract Duration: 01st October  – 31st December 2025 one day per week

About the Role

Artefact is seeking an experienced Braze Marketing Expert in the setup and execution of marketing campaigns using the Braze platform. This is a part-time freelance/contract role, ideal for a hands-on marketing professional with a strong background in campaign delivery and deep expertise in Braze.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, manage, and optimise marketing campaigns in Braze
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand campaign requirements and translate them into actionable configurations
  • Ensure proper audience segmentation, message personalisation, and journey orchestration
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Provide light documentation or handover guidance as needed

Engagement Timeline

  • From 1st Oct to 31st Dec: 1 day/week

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with the Braze platform (certifications a plus)
  • Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, segmentation, and campaign automation
  • Hands-on experience with message building (email, push, in-app, etc.) within Braze
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results within a part-time structure
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
