Market team

The Market department encompasses revenue operations that are run on markets. Because we want to be the closest to our users community to better serve them, we are building local commercial and marketing teams on all our major markets with strong leadership and talents.

The Market team is driven by growth and addicted to adrenaline. It is a very agile team, comfortable in evolving in an uncertain environment while building strong foundations for scale. It is also a user centric team very dedicated to the brands and retailers to make their business grow in a smart and fast way. Bold and fearless, this team is made of fighters that play for the team while endorsing strong ownership.

We are always looking for commercial, marketing, revenue operation profiles for individual contributors and managers roles across all Europe. We are very excited by candidates' great track record in a scale up environment that we can learn from.

Meet Jina Kwon, Country Manager UK

She works in the London office where she is responsible for the launch of and running of the UK business: building and structuring the right teams, liaising with their central teams, creating the best place to work for their employees, and above all making sure they build the right tools/resources/support to help their brands and retailers succeed domestically as well as abroad. She loves working at Ankorstore because they are building a new way of doing things in retail/wholesale that helps independent businesses that in turn foster community and culture. And all with super passionate, smart, diverse people.

    Born in Syria, raised in France and currently based in Paris after spending 5+ years working in West & Central Africa. She loves working from the Paris office; it is very energetic and friendly ! She also works from the Barcelona office and will soon be working from the Milan one. As Head of New Markets, she is responsible for the development of 16 European countries, including 🇪🇸 and 🇮🇹 but also 🇵🇱. The mission of empowering independant retailers truly drives her, along with the energy and amazing people she works with everyday.

Ankorstore is the largest (and fastest growing!) community of independent brands and retailers across Europe. They’ve grown to a diverse team of over 600 employees operating across seven offices worldwide, and they’ll grow even more in 2022. After fundraising in January 2022, taking their total funding to €365 million, Ankorstore is thrilled to have achieved “unicorn” status in just two years.

Ankorstore’s sales volume increased by 950% between 2020 and 2021. More than 11,000 brands registered in 2021 for a total of 20,000 brands today on the platform selling more than 1 million unique products.
