The position

Job description

Title: Marketing & Communications Assistant (Apprentice)

Location: Paris, France

Reporting To: Head of Brand Management & Communications

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing & Communications Assistant (Apprentice) to play a key role in our global marketing operations. From newsletters and websites to festival submissions and high-end brand activations, you will contribute across multiple touchpoints and learn how to run impactful campaigns in a fast-paced, international media company.

  • Support the rollout of global, multi-touchpoint marketing activations across digital, PR, events, and partnerships; monitor press coverage and brand visibility to measure impact.

  • Manage digital communications, including writing and automating B2C newsletters (Klaviyo, Make) and updating website content (Webflow).

  • Maintain and expand PR tools, such as journalist databases and press kits.

  • Manage submissions for festivals and awards.

  • Assist in the preparation of marketing decks and reports (collaboration decks, brand definitions, brand awareness tracking).

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners (local agencies, developers, freelancers) to ensure smooth delivery of projects.

  • Contribute to process improvements and internal initiatives, including workflow automation and strengthening Animaj’s employer brand and internal communications.


Preferred experience

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

  • Strong writing and organizational skills.

  • Interest in digital marketing and communications.

  • Hands-on familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., email automation, CMS, dashboards).

  • Basic analytical skills (comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets).

  • Motivation to learn in a dynamic, fast-growing company.
