Animaj leads the global media industry by creating and delivering premium 3D animation to families worldwide. Traditional animation, rooted in outdated processes since the early ‘90s, lags behind the fast-paced demands of today’s digital economy.

Our innovation addresses the time-intensive nature of traditional animation, where each second can take hours or a week to produce.

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Animaj, you’ll be instrumental in pioneering sophisticated AI solutions that will be implemented in our 3D animation production workflows.

You will report to the VP of Engineering and will be part of an ambitious team pushing the boundaries of the Kids’ animation industry through innovation in generative AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, evaluate models for business opportunities sourcing, audience/content understanding and channels optimization (eg channel pricing, CPM estimation, topic extraction from videos, audience interests, reverse-engineer YT recommendations) leveraging data from several sources (Youtube API, social networks, etc)

• Perform explorations to understand what drives kids entertainment channels/videos performance on Youtube

• Design and run AB tests and experimentation to identify optimization levers for our Youtube channels/videos

• Manage machine learning models in production (logging, monitoring, alerting)

• Feed models outputs into our data pipelines to enrich our data models

• Collaborate with our data engineers to specify what data points/sources should be acquired

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing, training and deploying in production machine learning models

• Masters or PhD in machine learning or related field

• You’re up to date with the most recent models and techniques in NLP, RL, DL fields and know how to best apply them to concrete business problems

• Excellent coding skills in Python

• Ability to formalize, analyze and solve complex problems

• Demonstrated strong autonomy, proactiveness, pragmatism and technical leadership

• Ability to explain complex scientific and technical concepts to any audience clearly

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• English proficiency and experience working in an international environment
