The Team

Our Disputes & Investigations (\DI\) team is pan European with teams in Geneva, Zurich, Paris, London, Munich, Frankfurt, Athens and Madrid. We have worked on some of the most significant, high-profile matters in the investigative and disputes area across many European countries and beyond. We are a leading provider of Forensic Accounting and Investigations, Forensic Technology, Dispute Advisory, Cyber Risk Management, and Privacy and Data Compliance services. We have an established reputation for high quality work in a non-Audit environment. Our approach is characterised by a high level of objectivity, diligence and intensive analysis.

How you will contribute

As part of our expansion in EMEA, we are seeking a talented Forensic Accountant with expertise in Investigations at Senior Director level to support DI in EMEA and be based in Paris. The successful candidates will support a variety of investigations and advisory projects for our clients. You will :

  • Lead and contribute to a variety of engagements in France and internationally  

  • Use forensic accounting skills to investigate fraud and other financial misrepresentation

  • Take a key role in drafting reports and other client deliverables

  • Develop and suggest solutions to complex problems by thinking “outside the box”

  • Balance multiple client projects and other responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management and clients

  • You will be encouraged to network internally with our other service lines and to participate in external marketing events

Requirements:

  • Solid track record of working in a forensic services team in consulting practice or similar

  • Demonstrable experience selling and delivering Investigations is essential at this level

  • Evidence of proactive business development is essential; a network of contacts is advantageous

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in combination with a positive attitude, energetic approach and self-motivation

  • Relentless and uncompromising attention to detail and quality

  • Self-starter with the drive to succeed in an entrepreneurial culture

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to synthesise information from several sources and draw coherent, well-evidenced conclusions

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in forensic accounting, investigations, or disputes, ideally in a professional services or regulatory environment

  • Professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CFE); legal or compliance credentials a plus

  • Strong understanding of French and international regulatory frameworks (e.g. Sapin II, anti-corruption, fraud)

  • Proven experience in leading and delivering complex investigations, with strong project management skills

  • Commercial mindset with a track record in business development and client relationship management

  • Fluent in French and English; additional languages are an asset

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Willingness to travel as needed
