About Alvarez & Marsal

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is a global consulting firm with over 10,000 entrepreneurial, action and results-oriented professionals in over 40 countries. The collaborative environment and engaging work—guided by A&M's core values of Integrity, Quality, Objectivity, Fun, Personal Reward, and Inclusive Diversity—are why our people love working at A&M 1

The Team

A&M’s Global Transaction Advisory Group (“TAG”) is the largest transaction advisory practice outside the Big 4 audit firms. Our award-winning practice includes over 800 professionals in 35 offices across the U.S., Middle East, Europe, Latin America, India, and Asia Pacific. A&M TAG offers a unique opportunity to perform “smarter” due diligence by providing an integrated and differentiated approach. We are unrestricted by any conflict with audit mandates, allowing us to operate cross-border seamlessly. Our unique delivery model enables junior members to gain extensive exposure to senior leaders, empowering individuals to fast-track their careers and development.

How You Will Contribute

As an Analyst in our Transactions Advisory team in Paris, you will join a growing team with strong leadership and a truly entrepreneurial spirit. You will work across the entire deal life cycle in a hands-on role, including both buy-side and sell-side work, and deliver international projects for prominent organizations worldwide. You will gain exposure to senior team members and develop your financial analysis skills, working as part of multi-disciplinary teams in France and across geographies.

Qualifications

  • Graduated from a leading “Grande Ecoles” in Business and/or Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Big 4 trained with experience in Transaction Services, Private Equity, Audit, and M&A.
  • Exposure to blue-chip Corporates and/or Private Equity is useful.
  • Fluent business-level English and French is essential. Additional European language skills, including Dutch, German, Swedish, Italian, or Spanish, are highly desirable.

Your Journey at A&M

We recognize that our people are the driving force behind our success, which is why we prioritize an employee experience that fosters each person's unique professional and personal development. Our robust performance development process promotes continuous learning, rewards your contributions, and fosters a culture of meritocracy. With top-notch training and on-the-job learning opportunities, you can acquire new skills and advance your career. We prioritize your well-being, providing benefits and resources to support you on your personal journey. Our people consistently highlight the growth opportunities, our unique, entrepreneurial culture, and the fun we have together as their favorite aspects of working at A&M. The possibilities are endless for high-performing and passionate professionals
