Job description

1. The missions and environment we offer

Based in Paris (travel to Europe possible), you will carry out consulting missions or manage projects for prestigious clients, leaders of the Insurance market in its multiple components: Life insurers, Non-Life insurers, bank insurers, reinsurers, brokers, mutuals.

The projects that you will be required to lead relate to the following majors:

  • Support for Financial Departments in the transformation of their Operating Model (evolution of organizations, processes, tools);

  • Digital transformation

  • Normative compliance and risks

  • ESG Finance

  • Data Strategy

  • Support for Mergers/Acquisitions

  • Actuarial science

  • Innovation and IT Strategy

  • Change management

Alpha FMC usually organizes two annual events which bring together all employees worldwide.

Monthly events are organized for the Paris firm and the Insurance team meets regularly.

2. Compensation and Benefits
We have a very attractive remuneration policy and you are interested in the profits from the moment you join the firm. The progression of your career and your remuneration is transparent and linked solely to your performance.

  • Base entry salary for this position is 70K

  • Variable remuneration: Alpha pays its employees a significant proportion of its profits in the form of profit-sharing (intéressement) and/or cash in accordance with Alpha’s discretionary profit-sharing scheme.

  • 25 days holiday per year

  • Health insurance (free for the employee for the individual option + free for children) and life insurance

  • Restaurant tickets (10 Euros, employer’s share 60%)

  • Transport ticket (Navigo): 50% reimbursed

  • Laptop computer supplied by Alpha FMC + Iphone/Samsung (up to 400 euros reimbursed) + fixed-rate telephone subscription (up to 40 euros per month)

Preferred experience

3. The profile we are looking for :

  • You have significant experience (5 to 8 years) within a consulting or audit firm, within an Insurtech or with a major Insurance player.

  • You have recognized expertise on one or more of the following subjects: Finance, IT strategy, ESG - Sustainable Finance, Actuarial science, Data management, Innovation.

  • You are passionate and you want to invest in the Insurance sector

  • You enjoy working in a team and demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial spirit

  • You are proactive and have a very good analytical and synthesis spirit and a very strong ability to manage priorities

  • You are able to manage and mentor junior members of the team

  • You speak English and French at a C1+ level (written and spoken)

  • Excellent command of the Office pack is required.

  • Conduct of interviews

  • Right to work in France and ability to be based in Paris

  • Interview with a member of the insurance team to discuss your motivation and background

  • Business case presentation with a group of the Insurance team

  • Final round interview with an Executive Director
