What will you be doing?

As a Sourcing Manager you will be responsible for strategically managing the procurement of materials, supplies, and services within designated categories. You will contribute to the success of our organization by ensuring cost-effectiveness, supplier relationship management, and alignment with business goals. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Production and Quality Assurance to reduce procurement activities and product development and production schedules.

What we’re looking for in you:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies for assigned areas.
  • Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and industry dynamics to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Develop and manage bid proposals (RFI/RFP), requirements documentation (SOW), service level agreements (SLA), purchase/service agreements and other related documents to deliver quality, service, and commercial benefits.
  • Monitor supplier performance, quality, and reliability. Implementing improvements as needed.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and optimization strategies, continually seeking opportunities to reduce procurement expenses.
  • Process orders, handle routine transactions with customers/suppliers and provide high levels of service and quality.
  • Assist accounts payables in vendor invoice discrepancy resolution.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in procurement and category management within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry

Location:

This exciting role is based out of the friendly and vibrant town of Natick, MA

Travel:

There is potential for some international travel for company sponsored events.

Hours for this role may be flexible and are hybrid, this will be communicated to the selected candidate by the Hiring Manager.
