The position

Job description

Project Description:
Support for data center operations, with a focus on the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of server and network infrastructures, as well as cabling activities and asset management.

Your Responsibilities:
• Perform daily support activities within the data center.
• Install and commission server and network equipment (rack & stack).
• Carry out and document cabling (copper and fiber optics).
• Provide Level 1 (Layer 1) troubleshooting for hardware and connectivity issues.
• Track and handle incidents and requests through ticketing tools.
• Maintain and update asset management data (using scanners).
• Participate in the lifecycle management of equipment (servers, switches, routers, storage).
• Contribute to change and maintenance processes, including preventive actions.
• Follow procedures (SOPs), as well as safety and quality standards.
• Communicate with internal teams and clients regarding incidents and actions taken.
• Participate in on-call duty outside business hours.


Preferred experience

• Experience in data center environments, particularly in rack & stack (2–3 years)
• Knowledge of OS provisioning (via USB or network)
• Basic knowledge of Linux and initial experience with scripting (Ansible, GitHub, etc.)
• Experience with ticketing tools (ideally Jira)
• Knowledge of server hardware (HP, Dell, Supermicro)
• Basic understanding of networking and protocols (Cisco, Arista, Juniper)
• Knowledge of DNS and DHCP
• Good understanding of data center best practices (redundancy, cabling, energy consumption)
• Experience in structured cabling (copper and fiber)
• Basic knowledge of power supply, cooling (HVAC), and infrastructure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (fluent English)
• Organized, reliable, and a team player
• Ability to perform physical tasks (handling equipment)
• Availability to work on-site and participate in on-call duties
• Certifications are a plus: CompTIA Server+, ITIL Foundation, CCNA, Linux
