You’ll be La Vie’s procurement leader, setting the playbook for ingredients and
packaging sourcing. Drawing on deep market intel, you’ll secure reliable, cost-
competitive supply chains and cut time-to-market for new launches. You’ll also
lead and coach our Material Planning Analyst so demand, supply and inventory
stay perfectly in sync.

🌟 What You’ll Do

- Build smart category strategies
Map global markets for novel plant proteins, flavours, colours and
packs.
Set up dual-sourcing and contingency plans for every critical SKU.
- Negotiate & govern
Draft watertight agreements covering quality, service, pricing and
growth options.
Maintain live risk dashboards and scenario plans so the business
always knows where it stands.
- Deliver measurable cost advantages
Use should-cost models, index-linked agreements and bulk buys to
drive sustainable savings without compromising quality.
- Spot the next game-changing inputs
Leverage your market knowledge to quickly identify new
ingredients, materials and suppliers that elevate La Vie’s
innovation pipeline and keep us ahead of the curve.
- Find and onboard new co-manufacturers (COMANs)
Run structured RFQ rounds and technical audits to select plants
that fit our spec and culture.
Negotiate clear contracts, including tolling rates, capacity locks
and IP clauses.
- Own data & operations
Maintain Ingredient Master Data, ensuring flawless POs, specs and
invoices.
Balance inventory across suppliers, 3PL and COMAN sites; review
MRP outputs with your analyst to keep service high and write-offs
low.

- Experienced buyer: 5+ years purchasing ingredients, flavors, colors,
packaging, and managing subcontracting procurement in a B2B food
environment — whether in a fast-paced start-up or a structured blue-chip
company.
- Skilled negotiator: you craft clear, robust contracts and secure win-win
agreements with suppliers.
- Bilingual: fluent in both English and French, written and spoken.
- Agile mindset: you thrive in dynamic, mission-driven environments and
embrace a hands-on, solutions-focused approach.
- Mission-aligned: you’re passionate about delicious, animal-free food and
want to help build the future of plant-based eating — without
compromising on taste.

You will have a first video call with the HR team and a second interview with your future manager, Gwendoline, COO, followed by a business case in the office!
