The position

Job description

Sharingbox builds advanced photo and video solutions that power brand experiences worldwide. As part of DNP Group—a global technology leader with 40,000 + employees, 48 production sites, and US$9.2 billion in annual revenue—we combine startup agility with the resources and stability of an enterprise that has been innovating for nearly 150 years. Since 2006, we have delivered projects in more than 20 countries for leading brands, transforming activations into engaging visual moments.

Main Mission

As Supply Chain Manager, part of the operation team, you own the full procurement-to-delivery cycle for our offices around Europe. You ensure components and consumables are available, stock records are accurate, quality standards are met, and data is clean, complete, and usable.
You work directly with suppliers, technical service teams, and management to keep costs under control, lead times short, and equipment availability high.

Responsibilities and Activities

Purchasing

  • Manage the end-to-end purchasing process: sourcing, supplier selection, purchase order creation, and delivery follow-up.

  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and service agreements with suppliers to secure the best value for the business.

  • Build and maintain a qualified supplier portfolio, including backup sources for critical categories.

  • Monitor market conditions and commodity price trends to anticipate cost fluctuations and adjust purchasing strategy accordingly.

  • Ensure all purchases comply with internal approval workflows and budgetary limits.

Stock Management and Accuracy

  • Oversee all European and local stock movements: receiving, storage, internal transfers, and write-offs.

  • Plan and execute regular stock counts, including cycle counts and full inventories, and reconcile results against system records.

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system data.

  • Define and maintain appropriate stock levels (minimum, maximum, reorder points) by category to prevent both stockouts and overstock.

  • Coordinate with receiving teams to ensure all deliveries are checked, counted, and entered correctly upon arrival.

Quality Control

  • Develop and supervise the quality check process at reception: compliance with technical specifications, packaging integrity, component condition, and labelling.

  • Define and apply acceptance and rejection criteria for hardware components, consumables, and spare parts.

  • Track and document non-conformances, supplier rejections, and quality incidents. Escalate recurring issues and follow up on corrective actions.

  • Work with technical and service teams to align product and component specifications with real operational needs.

  • Maintain quality control records to support warranty management, regulatory compliance, and supplier accountability.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the procurement and inventory management system.

  • Produce regular reports on purchasing performance, stock levels, waste, cost variances, and supplier KPIs.

  • Track key metrics including fill rate, order lead times, stock rotation, and shrinkage rate.

  • Identify trends and anomalies in data and translate them into operational recommendations for management.

  • Ensure traceability records are complete and accessible for internal audits and regulatory requirements.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with technical service, sales, and finance teams to align purchasing plans with deployment schedules and budgets.

  • Participate in new product launches and hardware rollouts to anticipate component requirements and assess sourcing feasibility.

  • Coordinate with logistics and freight partners to manage inbound flows and resolve transport or scheduling issues.

  • Support the team during peak commercial periods, trade shows, or large client deployments with adapted supply plans.
