As a Sales Specialist, you will be the face of our Retail Media business for our clients (suppliers and marketplace sellers of Leroy Merlin).
We have adopted a structure that empowers you to own the entire commercial relationship. You will be a strategic partner for our clients responsible for identifying opportunities, closing deals, nurturing the relationship in order to help our clients grow and succeed in cooperation with Leroy Merlin.
You will work hand-in-hand with our dedicated AdOperations team, who will handle the technical setup, trafficking, and data extraction, allowing you to focus on business, strategy, and client satisfaction.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
1. New Business Development
Identify and approach potential clients among Leroy Merlin’s suppliers and Marketplace sellers, utilizing existing contact lists and market research.
Collaborate closely with Leroy Merlin’s teams to identify trade opportunities and align media offers with their commercial calendar.
Create and deliver compelling sales presentations that educate clients on the value and benefits of Retail Media.
Negotiate commercial terms and close deals that maximize value delivered to our clients.
2. Account Management & Strategy
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with your portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted advisor.
Analyze client needs and expected results to prepare adequate media proposals based on the Valiuz product catalog.
Develop case studies based on successful campaigns to help convince new advertisers.
Review post-campaign reports (provided by the Ops team) to extract business insights, present them to the client and identify up-selling opportunities.
Propose optimized media plans for future campaigns or "always-on" strategies.
3. Process & Collaboration
Brief the AdOperations team in a standardized and organized way to ensure they have everything needed to execute the campaign flawlessly.
Document sales progress and manage the pipeline.
Help to develop procedures and tools in order to optimise the workflow.
We are seeking a confirmed profile in digital advertising sales or digital media planning (experience at a media agency, publisher, or ad network).
Whats is the most important for us?
You are comfortable analyzing and reporting data, KPIs, and working with files and dashboards that allow you to analyze your account as a basis for decision-making and defining the commercial strategy with each supplier
Your profile will be also a perfect match for our environment if you recognize yourself in the following:
You have a keen commercial sense, you are reactive, rigorous, self confident and convincing. You understand the "Consultative Selling" approach.
You have excellent interpersonal skills and can navigate complex relationships (Client – Retailer/Buyer – Agency).
You are familiar with CRM tools (Salesforce) and an understanding of marketing goals, digital media environment, digital ad formats and different media strategies.
You are fluent in Spanish and have professional proficiency in English (required for cooperation with HQ and international teams).
We also value profiles with an experience in the Retail Media area.
In-depth knowledge of the assigned market based on data, as well as multifunctional communication in an international work environment.
