As a AWS Cloud Operations Engineer (Senior / L3), you will take a leading role in implementing, automating, and supporting AWS infrastructure. You’ll provide top-tier L3 operational support, work closely with development teams, and contribute to maintaining stable, efficient, and secure cloud environments.

We are seeking a AWS Cloud Operations Engineer (Senior / L3) to join our operations team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment — automating cloud infrastructure, maintaining production systems, and solving complex issues at the L3 support level.

You’ll work primarily with AWS, using tools like Terraform/Terragrunt to manage infrastructure as code. You’ll also contribute to system stability through Linux administration, help streamline deployments via GitLab CI/CD, and support our Kubernetes environments. FinOps principles are a growing focus, so you’ll also play a part in optimizing cloud usage and cost.

This role requires strong client-facing communication, including participation in technical discussions and presentations. You’ll work onsite 2–3 days per week in our Prague office and be part of the on-call rotation for L3 support.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture and services
• Proficient in Terraform/Terragrunt for infrastructure as code (Medior+ level)
• Solid experience with Linux system administration (Medior+ level)
• Familiar with GitLab or similar tools for version control and CI/CD
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows (Medior level)
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes administration (Medior level or higher)
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (Junior level)
• Familiarity with FinOps principles and cloud cost management (Medior level)
• Experience with Azure is a plus
• Strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing settings
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model (2–3 days onsite) in Prague
• Availability for on-call L3 support rotation
