Job description

As a Talent Solutions Specialist you will bring strong organisation and communication skills with knowledge of talent solutions (methodology, tools and systems) to support our Talent Solutions owners and help Spendesk to continue to attract and retain great talent. You will have the opportunity to expand your expertise and gain varied experience across the talent lifecycle, as the Talent Solutions team follows a shared mission and leverages collective capabilities. Together you will apply an employee-led design approach, applying insights and market analysis for solution development and managing the ongoing success of solutions through impact measures. You will support go-to-market efforts through alignment with business priorities and end-to-end organisational readiness.

Reporting to the Director of Talent Solutions, you would be based in the GMT/WET timezone and able to partner effectively with Spendeskers in our offices in Paris, London, Berlin and San Francisco, as well as our remotees wherever they may be.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a seamless experience for Spendeskers through effective and efficient coordination, communication and administration of solutions across the full talent life cycle, including onboarding, performance reviews, talent assessments, development planning, learning and employee engagement surveys and initiatives
  • Help prioritise Talent Solutions initiatives and coordinate and communicate the Talent Solutions events calendar
  • Create and maintain engaging editorial content and enablement material (i.e. email and Slack messages, newsletters, Notion pages, e-learning modules, handbooks, presentations, etc.) to ensure a high take up rate of talent solutions
  • Work with the HRIS (Human Resource Information System) team and external providers on the seamless deployment of new tools or new releases and provide support to end users
  • As the primary source of contact, coordinate and liaise with external Talent Solutions partners and vendors to ensure alignment with Spendesks cultural values and compliance with technical and procurement policies and processes
  • Triage talent solutions requests, identifying and communicating solutions where already in place or referring requests to the Talent Solutions team for prioritisation
  • Track the success metrics for talent solutions and compile reports to inform decisions and drive future enhancements
  • Who we are looking for:

  • Keen interest in talent management and development theories, progressve practices and emerging tech/tools, with a desire to learn and seek opportunities to enhance the employee and manager experience
  • Proven track record of administering, communicating and coordinating Talent Solutions such as performance review processes, talent assessments, onboarding, learning, employee engagement surveys
  • Ability to translate talent methodologies and solutions into consumable messaging and content for all employees using a variety of creative communication tools and channels
  • Confident in managing data sets, analysing information and presenting data in an engaging and consumable way to highlight common trends and make recommendations for future initiatives.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills and able to coordinate initiatives across the team and synthesise into clear and concise action plans
  • Digitally savvy and experienced with the administration of online talent tools and technology
  • Self-motivated with the ability to ramp-up quickly and be comfortable in an agile, unstructured role and a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
  • Fluency in English (spoken/written)
  • Desired:

  • Experience of administering Learning Management Systems and Learning content platforms such as Linkedin Learning and 360 Learning
  • Experience of administering employee engagement platforms such as Culture Amp, Zavvy or 15five
  • Experience of administering mentoring or coaching platforms, such as Mentorcliq or BetterUp.
  • Experience of administering talent assessments, such as DiSC, MBTI, Tilt365, Hogan, Strengths Finder
  • Experience of administering HCM (human capital management) software such as Personio, Success Factors or Workday
  • Experience of managing external talent solutions vendors, contracts and program budgets
  • Interest in employee-led design and experience of personas and journey mapping
  • Fluency (spoken/written) in French and/or German.
