Siemens GBS Customs team is looking for a new experienced Customs Classification Specialist!
What part will you play?
You analyze goods from complex processes (hardware, software, technology) from in-house production according to technical (e.g., physical, chemical, mechanical or combinations) and/or commercial (e.g. price/costs, origin, calculation) characteristics and label them in compliance with the legal requirements of the Foreign trade and customs law according to the aforementioned characteristics
You will develop solutions for the global process and quality improvement of customs goods classification and will be involved in the further development of the Customs Master Data
You are responsible for the creation and coordination of technical information and regulations to ensure customs compliance in customs tariff law
You will work and engage with international teams to address global strategic classification issues and complex cases
You will professionally lead the identifiers in superordinate/planning issues relating to product classification and control quality improvement control loops for product labeling under customs law
You are responsible for the strategic introduction of classification issues into the (cross-border) planning and implementation of customs processes
They carry out conceptual technical and legal training courses
Furthermore, you will coordinate and develop cause analyzes independently and implement suitable corrective measures in a procedural manner
What you need to make real what matters:
You have a strong technical experience or education background and the ability to read technical drawings and technical documentation/specifications
You are well versed in customs product classification and customs processes (import, export, etc.)
You bring with you the ability to grasp new complex problems and to develop solutions from them
You will demonstrate your communication and enthusiasm skills together in a team
Business fluent German and very good English skills round off your profile
