You will be the leading builder for the mojo web backend.

So you’ll create and maintain:

• mojo’s account system, based on Firebase Authentication
• the API, communicating with our mobile apps
• the data upload, storage and retention policy

Technical Skills

We’re not expecting you to be ready on day 1, but you’ll have to be very motivated to learn everything you need.

• Experience with web backend creation in at least one or two modern languages (Typescript/JS, Python, PHP, Elixir, Ruby, Go etc.) or framework (Django, RoR, Express, Loopback, Symphony, Phoenix etc.)
• Experience building REST API
• Experience with SQL and data modelling

A plus, but not mandatory:

• Typescript
• serverless, Lambda/GCF
• CI/CD, Unit testing, Docker etc.
• PostgreSQL
• GraphQL

Human skills

• Highly motivated to learn and to become better! Again, we’re not expecting you to be ready on day 1, but you’ll have to be very motivated to learn everything you need.

• Autonomous, like working without specs, and always be learning new stuff to achieve goals

• Accept to ship imperfect code/features, then iterate

• Proactivity is mandatory, you’ll own whatever you’re working on

• Be comfortable with transparency

• Like good jokes (not true, our jokes are not funny 🙈)

The position is possible in full-remote with a 2 days paid trip to the office every other week. Geography: U.E/Shengen with maximum 3 hours timezone offset from France required.
