Who is Allianz Direct? 👀

Allianz Direct is a subsidiary of the German group Allianz, created in 2019, offering online insurance services. Already present in four countries (Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain), Allianz Direct provides various home, car, motorbike, and travel insurance products (the latter available in Germany and the Netherlands).

Allianz Direct believes in the power of digital and technology to create a virtuous circle in the insurance market, centered around customer satisfaction. Across Europe, Allianz Direct promotes the same model: innovating to make insurance simpler, more efficient, fairer, and more transparent.

Since the acquisition of the online insurer Luko in January 2024, Allianz Direct’s commercial brand in France has been Luko by Allianz Direct. Following the acquisitions of FRIDAY in October 2024 and Eurofil in January 2026, Allianz Direct has become the 3rd largest digital insurance player in France, accelerating the rollout of its car insurance offering.
