We are looking for Security Strategists with deep technical know-how to cooperate with our colleagues in Austria. As a (Senior) Manager in the Cyber Security & IT Risk Advisory Team , you will work with experienced colleagues to develop tailored concepts for the diverse requirements of our clients. Depending on your experience, your tasks will include not only project collaboration but also project management.

What Your Role Will Involve?

Digital transformation, hacker attacks, new development models, technical debt, and cloud technology –these projects, among others, are waiting for us:

  • planning, design, and implementation of Information Security Management Systems with a clear focus on increasing the effectiveness of security in the company
  • development of innovative, practical solutions in information security and risk management according to international methods such as ISO/IEC 27001, ISO27017, and ISO 27005
  • implementation and further development of the internal policy and control framework according to ISO27001
  • further development of security compliance frameworks, e.g., in the FS sector (EBA guidelines, local regulator requirements, etc.)
  • integration of new IT and security compliance requirements into existing structures/processes
  • organization or execution of internal audits, as well as the derivation and tracking of measures
  • execution of ISO27001, DORA, and NIS2 implementation projects
  • conducting organizational gap-security assessments (ISF, DORA, NIS2, ISO27k, etc.)
  • further development of organizational security architectures
  • development of value-adding security key figure systems for management
  • development of sourcing models for large security organizations
  • support for tenders for security solutions and providers
  • active engagement with leading-edge technology stacks, trends, and the current security threat landscape
  • collaborating closely with Austrian colleagues on international projects in a German-speaking environment, so fluent German (spoken and written) is essential

Who are we looking for?

  • completed studies in Computer Science or Business Informatics with a focus on IT Security, or a relevant Security-related degree
  • excellent German skills, both written and spoken
  • several years of professional experience as an Information Security Officer/Manager, Security Architect, or in other operational, strategic, or leadership roles in IT/Security is a major plus
  • experience as a (Security) project manager is desirable
  • excellent understanding of business processes, strong team skills, high motivation and learning ability, quick comprehension, and creativity
  • broad interest and/or experience in Agile, DevOps, ITIL, COBIT, Software Development, Cloud Architecture, Project Management, Strategic Management, and/or future topics in digitalization is beneficial
