What you will do:

Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF) comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.

The key purpose of this role is to be responsible for the successful implementation and client onboarding of complex deals across the whole range of Global Trade & Receivables Finance's (GTRF) solutions, for clients located across the European geographies. Key responsibilitie is to manage end to end implementation; from client kick off, to scoping, documentation, and go live using tried and tested methodologies to deliver high quality client experience, while speeding revenue realization to the bank.

In this role you will:

• Lead end to end implementation of Structured Finance deals including Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance, Asset Based Lending, and work closely with Operations, Technology and Services providing high level of implementation consultancy to clients. Project Manage and perform accurate set up instructions and oversight of successful completion

• Ensure close and effective working relationships with key stakeholders: GTRF Frontline and structuring, Coverage (senior management, Business lines/segments); DBS (IT, Change Delivery, Service delivery); Global functions (e.g., Risk, Finance); Global GTRF, core Project Teams

• Act as a center of expertise for implementation of key strategic projects, including ensuring delivery to high standards, world class governance, effective engagement of key stakeholders and promotion of collaboration and application of best practices across CMB/ GTRF

• Establishes effective mechanisms for sharing best practices to enable a consistent approach and appropriate escalation of information to senior management

• Project manage multiple deals/programmes concurrently by being central point to both internal and external clients. Drive project timelines to achieve optimal time to revenue generation

• Develop implementation plans as agreed for each deal incorporating Project Management methodologies. Provide guidance to clients with respect to tasks and their role withing the project plan

• Attend and host regular client meetings to review project status against the plan

• Provide accurate and timely implementation status and escalate issues that impact client experience to relevant Senior Client Managers

• Identify and communicate process gaps and improvement opportunities; express willingness to own improvement initiatives; and be recognized by leading change for the better and excellent client delivery

• Continuously adapt to balance and prioritise different demands of the team and requirements from multiple directions and stakeholders

• Understand and describe which products and channels relate to specific clients and maintain open and honest dialogue with key stakeholders i.e., Sales, Product, Coverage

Conditions

You should apply if you have:

• Knowledge of Trade Finance structures at a global level having experience in Receivables Finance, supply chain, pre-export finance, and/or commodity finance.

• Demonstrated project management experience

• High level of drive and motivation to ensure successful delivery of complex deals and keen interest in long term client portfolio management to deliver best in class service

• Proactive attitude, keen to learn and flexibility to adapt for each client requirement

• Result driven, able to perform risk analysis with consistent track record of on-time/on-quality delivery

• Work independently and under pressure whilst using strong judgmental skills to identify and resolve complex problems, manage ambiguity, and adhere to timelines, ensuring high quality output. Ability to filter and prioritise multiple demands, resolve conflicts, and develop consensus

• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to articulate and detail, if necessary, issues to all levels

• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Power Point and use of market platforms like Bloomberg, S & P capital, functions
