Projects and tech challenges

As part of the FLOTLOG program, GE Power Conversion supplied the electric propulsion systems (motors and MV7000 medium voltage drives) as well as the control systems of the four new logistic support ships (LSS) of the French Navy.

GE Power Conversion will provide SNCF Réseau with the boosters for the future extended RER E line. More specifically, it is the turnkey supply of 4 STATCOM systems/High Voltage Boosters (HVB).

This reactive power compensation solution consists of two systems each composed of 2 redundant boosters, for a total of 4 converters.

GE Power Conversion's latest converters offer better dynamic performance than systems based on reactive energy compensator technology, ensuring improved reliability and network availability. They are also up to 20% more compact.

Recruitment process

Our recruitment process consists of two main steps. First, there is a screening interview with our recruitment department.

The candidate then meets with the Human Resources Manager and the manager. Depending on the positions, an interview with the N+2 can be arranged.
