We are looking for an Incident Coordinator for our newly expanding Generali International Global Command Center.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the end-to-end incident lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and organizing resolution meetings.
  • Act as a single point of contact for Major Incident Coordinators, providing regular status updates.
  • Analyse and resolve user-generated incidents, as well as those reported by monitoring tools.
  • Handle infrastructure and partly application incidents according to technical instructions.
  • Communicate effectively with IT 2nd level teams in various countries.
  • Identify and propose improvements for effective event management and incident resolution.
  • Create and update internal documentation, including statistics and reports.
  • Pilot newly monitored items and provide supervision and support to external sub-teams.
  • Conduct training sessions for external teams, including documentation creation and workshops.

Work Organization:

  • Shift mode, including morning, afternoon, and occasional night shifts.
  • On-call shifts as needed.

Requirements:

  • University degree in a technical discipline or graduation from a technical high school, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Fluent communication in Czech and English, both written and verbal (English communication will be frequent).
  • Knowledge of ITIL Incident management process and other IT Operations processes.
  • Good understanding of hardware and software.
  • Practical basic knowledge of Linux/Windows server operating systems.
