The Team

A&M’s dedicated Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) professionals work with investors and their portfolio companies to provide independent analysis and end-to-end services across the investment lifecycle that deliver results in every economic cycle.

Through our PEPI practice, A&M offers assistance to private equity-owned portfolio companies that are underperforming or require reorganization and repositioning. Working directly with company management, A&M's involvement reassures stakeholders that the company is taking critical steps to address its challenges and maximize its value.

This role is based in Paris and offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team on high-impact projects. Supported by the Pan-European team, you will help build the profile and reputation of A&M PEPI in France.

How you will contribute

• Lead a wide range of projects, including operational/commercial due diligence, post-merger integration, performance improvement, transformation, and interim management.
• Advise and implement performance improvement programs for major corporations across various industry sectors.
• Evaluate cost reduction and revenue enhancement opportunities.
• Lead post-acquisition work to ensure operational due diligence (ODD) is realized in full and in the shortest possible time.
• Develop and implement 100-day plans, ensuring clarity, ownership, and delivery of growth and cost reduction initiatives.
• Support delivery of projects with PE-owned businesses to assess opportunities for financial/operating performance improvement.
• Work with PE-owned clients on complex operational issues, including manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics, and purchasing.
• Contribute to business development activities, including successful pitches and selling diagnostic projects into implementation work.
• Support PE firms in ensuring their portfolio companies have credible plans and the ability to execute and deliver required financial results.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in transformation, PMI, and due diligence within a top-tier PE or strategy firm, leading specialist advisory firm, or Big 4 consultancy.
• Proven track record of delivering major assignments at pre- and post-deal stages.
• Expertise in operational KPIs, balanced scorecards, and continuous improvement processes.
• Strong knowledge of LEAN production philosophy and holistic performance improvement projects.
• Ability to travel to client sites across Europe.
• A degree from an accredited university is essential.
• Fluency in French and English is mandatory; additional European languages are desirable.
