You will join TiHive’s Industrial Operations team, which is responsible for the industrialisation of our Vision Systemsand their deployment at customer facilities.

This is a multidisciplinary role offering hands-on experience at the intersection of mechanical engineering, optics, and industrialisation. You will gain valuable exposure to the lifecycle of deep tech products — from design and prototyping to real-world deployment in industrial environments.

Your Missions
As part of your internship/apprenticeship, you will:

• Participate in the mechanical design and integration of electro-optical and mechanical components within TiHive products (including CAD design, simulations, testing, and validation)

• Contribute to the deployment of TiHive’s solutions at customer production sites — from initial setup to operational rollout

• Assist the team in rapidly prototyping new concepts, product iterations, and mechanical improvements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, product), as well as external suppliers and vendors

• Support effective communication with internal stakeholders and customer technical teams

• Be an active member of our interdisciplinary innovation teams, contributing to creative problem-solving and continuous improvement

• Background in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or industrial product design

• Skills in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or equivalent)

• Familiarity with prototyping tools and mechanical testing methods

• Knowledge of electromechanical systems and optical/mechanical integration is a plus

• Strong communication skills, team spirit, and a hands-on attitude

• Rigorous, organised, and committed to high-quality work

• Fluent in English (French is a plus)
