Roles & Responsibilities 

  • The People VP will report to Prestashop Chief People and Legal Officer,
  • In this role, the People VP will lead the execution of the People Strategy in line with the assigned KPIs; managing the People business partners team. Accountable for core phases of the employee journey, from Talent attraction to onboarding (e.g. employment agreements, HR admin), Employee Engagement (measured through quarterly People surveys, coordinating local action plans and initiatives), Learning & Development (e.g. Training, Performance Management ), Reward and Recognition (e.g. Salary grid/policy), as well as maintaining HRIS up to date and respect the allocated  People OPEX budget.
  • Improve the overall Employee Experience from onboarding to offboarding (surveys, tools, organisation of remote work, rituals etc.).
  • Support Chief People and Legal Officer and Prestashop Executive Committee in organizational redesign and execution.
  • Lead and strategise on the development of effective employment policies across the company, in close collaboration with the Group Headquarters and PrestaShop Labor law and Payroll Manager.
  • Ensure that the company complies with current regulations, policies and procedures and legislation (including legislation on data protection, the gender equity and health and safety).  
  • Take a lead role in transforming and strengthening the organizational culture, ensuring that the company values and approach are displayed.
  • Provide professional leadership, support and development to People staff, in order to increase knowledge, share best practice to ensure that relevant professional standards are met.
  • Drive the continuous improvement agenda with focus on engagement & well-being activities, maximizing productivity, coaching line managers on their People Management responsibilities and contributing to build leadership skills.
  • Support execution of a plan for diversity, equity and inclusion that aligns with company values, business strategy, commitments and Group requirements.
  • Regularly coach, mentor and support senior and high potential colleagues to identify individual strengths and development needs, develop and maintain effective relationships and encourage retention.
  • Ensure managers are sufficiently skilled and enabled to access appropriate guidance and information to manage workforce issues. 
  • Provide ad hoc reports and analysis on People KPIs such as L&D, follow up of probation periods, analysis of churn (voluntary/involuntary), % of internal moves, engagement surveys results.

Requirements

Experience - We're Looking For

  • Master degree in Human Resources Management, Business / Management, Psychology, or a Labor Law subject, with a minimum 10 years’ experience in a HR role, including a minimum 3 years experience in a managerial role.
  • Fluent level of both spoken and written English.
  • Ability to contribute to crafting the People strategy at both company and Group level.
  • Business acumen and experience of using metrics for driving performance (e.g. OKRs)
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of regulations, accepted professional standards, policies, procedures and labor law (including GDPR, gender equity, health and safety etc.).
  • Excellent knowledge of HR practices. Vast working knowledge of all HR departmental areas, including reward and recognition, welfare, learning and development, as well as HRIS and budgets.
  • A proactive attitude and a passion for leading with integrity.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and a positive, approachable manner.
  • A proactive and agile work ethic.
  • A curious mindset, to think innovatively and rationally about concerns and come up with creative solutions
  • Experience of managing a skilled team and making quick but rational decisions.
  • Thorough and methodical attention to detail.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize, problem-solve and use your initiative.
  • First-rate communication and presentation skills.
