What you’ll do

As our Lead Product Designer, you’ll own the full design process, from research to final polish.

You’ll be the creative force behind Opal’s design strategy, shaping intuitive and impactful experiences that transform how people interact with their screens. You’ll own the entire design process—from uncovering insights to delivering pixel-perfect solutions—making focus a reality for millions of users.

• Lead user research: Run workshops, conduct interviews, and dig deep to uncover what our Gems need

• Craft product vision: Define how design can drive focus, retention, and delight — short and long term

• Design iconic experiences: Build wireframes, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs across mobile and Mac

• Own execution: Work closely with engineers to bring your work to life, beautifully and precisely

• Shape the system: Evolve Opal’s design system to ensure consistency and scale

• Collaborate deeply: Partner with Ugo, Anton, and our Support and Engineering teams to build what matters
  

What you bring

• Experience: 6+ years in product design, with a focus on consumer apps.

• User Research Expertise: Proven ability to uncover and translate user insights into actionable design solutions.

• Design Tools:

  • Advanced Figma skills

  • Experience with Webflow and data-driven tools like Amplitude.

  • Motion design is a plus

• Monetization Design: Familiarity with designing for mobile and Mac app monetization.

• Entrepreneurial Spirit: You’re proactive, solutions-oriented, and excited to tackle complex challenges.

• Strong Design Fundamentals: Exceptional visual design skills and a deep understanding of UX principles.
