Sophie is a process engineer from Ecole Centrale Paris, and holds a MBA from INSEAD. After 2 years as a project officer for the French Development Agency in Jordan, she worked as an operationnal excellence consultant in aeronautics and energy. Passionate about entrepreuneuship, technology and management, she was listed as one of the 6 who will shape the healthcare sector of tomorrow in Welcome to the Jungle’s magazine.

Nicolas Loy Rodas, holds a PhD in medical robotics from the University of Strasbourg, and a Mechatronics’ Engineering diploma from the Strasbourg’s National Institute of Applied Sciences. He previously worked on the development of new approaches for perceiving the 3D environment of an operating room, simulating the propagation of ionizing radiations and visualization through augmented reality. He is co-inventor of two patent applications, and first author of 8 scientific publications. He brings his technical expersite and knowledge of the scientific and clinical fields, acquired through his 6 years of experience of research & development in the field of Computer-assisted medical interventions.

Blaise is a mechatronics engineer with over 10 years experience in robotics. After working at CEA (a research institution) where he designed innovative medical devices, he spent 7 years at aldebaran robotics (now softbank) in the innovation and r&d department, working on the Romeo robot and new actuators. Blaise is very familiar with the full hardware product design cycle. Passionate about robotics, he's a diy/maker guy and he frequently attends hardware hackathon. He is  a creative & execution powerhouse behind many of our original ideas!

Created in June 2018, Ganymed Robotics ambitions to revolutionize the standard of care in Orthopedic surgery.

Ganymed develops a revolutionary active therapeutic device to assist surgeons during knee replacement surgery. Working in close collaboration with high-volume orthopedic surgeons, researchers, entrepreneurs in Computer-Assisted Surgery and Robotics, the company has filed several patents and has been awarded numerous international and national prices, such as the I-LAB contest.

With a truly innovative user-centered design and novel AI-based algorithms to perceive and extract knowledge from the surgical scene in a non-invasive manner, Ganymed improves patient outcome and surgeon experience.
