The Internship.

Join the LightOn team for an internship at the cutting edge of Machine Learning. Our team works end-to-end on the training, inference, and evaluation of transformer models and retrieval systems that power Paradigm – our enterprise Generative AI Copilot. As an intern, you will focus on a specialized project within this ecosystem, tailored to your specific skills and interests. This is an ideal opportunity for motivated students with strong Machine Learning skills to further deep dive into on the latest state-of-the-art of AI.

Your background.

You are a Master’s student in Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related area. You have a strong passion for tackling real-world problems, a can-do attitude, and a desire to apply your software engineering and machine learning skills to drive meaningful impact. You thrive in an environment where you are given the autonomy to explore and take ownership of your work.

Required skills, regardless of interests. 

👨‍💻️ > Strong Python programming skills

🧰 > Basic understanding of Linux environments, command line tools, and version control tools

🖥️ > Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals, transformer architectures, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)

In addition to this, we expect additional skills in your area of interests for this internship.
