In the context of the change of our accounting ERP system, the VAT & Tax Technology team is looking for a new Business Process Owner to manage our tax processes.

Within a process-oriented organization, it is essential for the group to manage the functional and technical requirements related to indirect taxes while ensuring the overall compliance of the process.

The VAT & Tax Technology team focuses on topics such as compliance, data quality, and the improvement of tax-related workflows and tools. The goal is to master the end-to-end tax process. You will work closely with different countries, international financial organization teams, the group's accounting department, and technical teams

Responsibilities:

Purpose:

• Design of the end-to-end process (workflows, inputs, outputs) based on the business strategies  from a single view combining : business, IT and user perspectives

• Ensure correct data management and interfaces of the processes through the data model and the architecture : global repositories access, roles and permissions for data access, local business rules

• Ensure Process Consistency with other streams and subject matter experts

Key accountabilities: design end to end process based on the business strategies

• Knows who to mobilize as contributors

• Design (document and maintain) the end-to-end process with each action/ step performed and by who

• Define process common principles regarding privacy (GDPR) and security standards

• Make the link between IT and business team

Ensure correct data management and interfaces of the process

• Validate which data will be collected in each action/ step and permissions needed

• Validate data workflow through interfaces in order to optimize process efficiency

• Confirm at country level integrations that will be needed

• Be aware of country specific business rules and include them in the process

Ensure Process consistency

• Challenge business and propose improvement, simplification of their end-to-end process

• Identify key KPI of the process to follow and report at United level

• Take an active part in the change management plan (training and communication)

• Identify continuous improvements to foster adoption
