Velco’s R&D team is made of technical experts on a variety of disciplines. Team members are aligned behind shared values of excellence, responsibility, and strong team spirit. Made up of our specialists in electronics, radiofrequency, and embedded software, our IoT Devices teams delivers the design and performance of our IoT products. They work in close collaboration with the Cloud Services team that brings its expertise to strengthen our offer: infrastructure specialists and full stack and mobile developers are the builders of these innovative solutions.

Organization and methodologies
Scrum-type organisation with a product team (PM, PO, UX/UI designer, QA engineer) that defines the needs and a tech team that delivers it.
Recruitment process
Our recruitment process is quite standard, but it continues to bear fruit:
- Relatively short phone or visio call with our CHRO for both parties to ensure there’s an alignment between
- Visio or real-life meeting with our Tech Manager and CHRO to explore the candidate’s experience in relation to the role, understand the work environment that suits them best, and to present Velco in more detail so that they can confirm their interest in the role.
- Technical test for the candidate to complete on their own time in the days following the meeting
- Another interview, informal and in real life, with our Tech Manager and a couple of other members of the tech team. The purpose of this last conversation is to have another opportunity to discuss, probe further into the areas that may have raised questions for either party, and meet potential future colleagues.
Once the job offer has been accepted and before the date of commencement of employment, we keep in touch with the successful candidate and organise meetings with other members of the team to ensure that the integration process is as quick and pleasant as possible for all concerned.
