This not only means working efficiently but also having the discipline to focus only on the truly important issues. It's easy to get lost in day-to-day work instead of choosing how to invest our time.

Presumption of competence : We recruit people who inspire and impress us. We trust them and expect autonomy and conviction from them. Many people would not be comfortable with the level of responsibility entrusted at Alma, but we believe that it is what makes our days so exciting.

Radical humility : We believe that it is impossible to truly progress without being fully aware of one's strengths and weaknesses. It is essential to know how to accept our mistakes in order to understand where to improve. And it is equally essential to be aware of our strengths in order to exploit them to the fullest. Integrity : We work with our merchants' and their customers' money, which is a huge responsibility. We strive to make our business clear and our mechanics transparent. Alma has no hidden fees or penalties. We prefer to generate less money, if it means developing a healthy business.

Radical candor : We believe that it is only possible to help someone improve by having the courage to give them honest and clear feedback. While it is often easier or quicker to say nothing, we choose to help and provide this feedback, whether it is positive or negative.

Together : Collaboration and kindness are essential to make Alma a fast-growing company where we love to work. For merchants, our instalment and deferred payment solutions are excellent ways of increasing customers' loyalty and satisfaction, as well as generating up to 20% extra sales revenues without any risk. and they generate an incomparable level of satisfaction with 64 Net Promoter Score.

For consumers, the purchase experience is enhanced (4.7/5 on Trustpilot) and Alma helps them handle their budget easily. They pay later, Alma pays the merchants right away.

We are the leader in France, on track to win the European market on the (very) powerful Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) industry, as we’re now processing payments in 10 European countries. Over the past 5 years, more than 11 000 merchants have chosen Alma to be their innovative BNPL solution, and we have served over 2.7 million consumers.

The team has grown from 2 to 350+ people, we raised a €210M series C early 2022 to help us accelerate further and Alma is already part of the Next40 ranking of the most promising French technology companies. And that's only the beginning.
