The position

Job description

As a Business Development Intern at Fifteen, your role is to help cities understand what high-quality bike sharing looks like—and how it can transform mobility for their residents. You will act as a Commercial Teacher: someone who brings clarity, expertise, and structured thinking to decision-makers who often navigate complex mobility challenges.

What you’ll be doing:

Strategic

  • Contribute to the regional expansion strategy by identifying and prioritizing cities to approach.

  • Explore and test new, efficient sales channels.

  • Put forward and defend your ideas in a scale-up that values initiative and smart risk-taking.

Marketing & Sales

  • Create clear, educational content to guide prospects on their journey toward launching their own bike-sharing system.

  • Develop new lead-generation ideas in collaboration with the Marketing team.

  • Promote our solution to decision-makers and influencers during meetings, events, and trade fairs.

  • Help optimize the overall sales process and ensure smooth internal coordination.

Project Management (A to Z)

  • Understand each city’s needs and contribute to shaping a project aligned with local mobility goals.

  • Support relationship-building through visits, demos, and regular interactions.

  • Travel on-site for meetings, product demonstrations, and service launches.

  • Participate in preparing official tender proposals for cities.

Preferred experience

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree at a business school, engineering school, or in political science.

  • Some initial experience managing cross-functional projects, taking ownership, and driving work end-to-end.

  • Native written and verbal communication skills in German, with fluency in English and/or French.

  • Motivated by having a positive impact on cities, mobility, and sustainability.

  • Comfortable interacting with high-level public officials, including politicians and senior civil servants.

  • Strong interpersonal, conversational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Willing and able to travel frequently for meetings, demos, events, and on-site visits.
