Your Role:

Your role is that of a Investment & Strategy Associate, where your deep academic background provides a critical specialization in frontier AI and deep-tech.

  • Conduct deep fundamental research on AI-driven software & technology companies.

  • Perform strategic due diligence and financial analysis on publicly listed and privately owned software & technology companies, with an emphasis on evaluating the core AI/ML technology, data assets, and technical defensibility.

  • Leverage both quantitative modeling and qualitative insights generation through expert interviews, particularly with AI researchers and technical experts.

  • Collaborate with a strong team of peers and experienced ex-Tier 1 management consultants contributing to the research.

  • Deliver high-quality and valuable deliverables that will support decision-making on multi-million investments.

  • Communicate your research findings internally and externally, ensuring clear articulation of complex AI implications.

  • Naturally grow in the team to take on more and more responsibilities and develop yourself as a strong professional.

  • Daily monitoring of the already identified companies.

  • Preparation of financial research and analysis, strategic screening, and communication materials for our members.

  • Leading interviews in English with professional experts.

  • Support on process improvement and new deep-tech/AI companies screening.


Preferred experience

Your Profile:

Across the firm, we attract motivated, intellectually curious, and analytically rigorous young professionals who are passionate about learning and creating impact. For this role, we require the added expertise and depth of a PhD to address the technical complexity of AI investments. It’s highly likely you’ll move forward in the process if:

  • Academic Depth: You are a PhD graduate (or nearing completion) from a Tier 1 university, ideally specializing in Artificial Intelligence, or Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, Data Science, or another quantitative field with a strong focus on AI topics.

  • Professional Acumen: You have 3-4 years of relevant experience in strategy and business (with several internships in finance/tech/startup or corporate company).

  • Analysis Skills: You have excellent analysis skills and excellent Excel abilities, capable of integrating advanced quantitative findings into financial models.

  • Presentation Skills: You deliver strong verbal presentations and great slides to support it.

  • Strategic Thinking: You have a strong strategic thinking mind—you know how to look for key inputs and do smart correlations.

  • Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills in English are a must. French, German, or Italian language ability is a plus.
