Description

• Support daily starting services activities on the LRV of Edmonton
• Be the referral for Electrical troubleshooting activities
• Support on-field team for commissioning and Testing activities
• Support On-site Project manager for planned deliverables
• Support and participate to the readiness plan for revenue service operations

The work is to be performed on the premises of Segula in Edmonton, AB, by on-site presence, or home-office according to the company guidelines applicable (to be discussed)

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant experience combined with more than 10 years of experiences in the field of public transit vehicles in a operations and/or maintenance environment.
• Experiences:
• - Knowledge of rail industry, with a special focus on Power system and Rail vehicle
• - More than 5 years of experience on LRV Vehicle, with on-site assignments, for Operations, Maintenance, and wayside equipment with railway authorities.
• - Excellent knowledge of readiness activities with respect to processes, procedures, and safety. Understanding of Engineer documentation, schematics, etc 
• - Background of Electrical engineering
• - Good knowledge of the following areas: electrical engineering, signaling (asset), power system, LRV vehicle, Edmonton project (ideally)
• - Be autonomous and demonstrate strong leadership assets
• - Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• - Project technical coordination experience
• - Ability to work independently as well as to drive internal/external resources
• .
• - Problem solving attitude: the candidate has to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
